The phased re-development of The Geoffrey Close Estate, Lambeth. The project was executed in four construction phases over a period of years, to allow the decant of existing residents into the new homes as they become available. The project provided a total of 441 residential units in blocks ranging from five to thirteen storeys with a new community room, and gym.
The scheme incorporates extensive new open space that forms an integral part of the redevelopment proposals including the provision of 1750sqm of ground floor amenity space (excluding defensible zones) and 1680sqm of roof level amenity space and new vehicle and pedestrian accesses, parking spaces and extensive cycle parking across the development, comprising 810 spaces and 20 visitor spaces.
