Overview

The project involves the demolition of the existing Riverside Stand, removal of the two existing floodlight masts, and construction of new stand with integral floodlights; construction of new river wall and riverside walk and temporary pontoons during construction; partial demolition of the west end of the existing Putney Stand, adjustment of concourse levels, provision of new entrance from Bishop’s Park, additional WCs, first aid room, control room, PA announcers room, TV studio, and a new concession at concourse level; partial demolition of the west end of the existing Hammersmith Stand, and reconfiguring of the seating tier and access arrangements; amendments to the Hammersmith Stand to enable vehicle access to the Riverside to include changes to the inclination of structural columns, unification of the concourse, changes to the stairs that access the vomitories and changes to the arrangement of F&B outlets; demolition of the existing gates in the north western corner of the ground, and provision of new entrance and exit arrangement, with a small number of turnstiles; changes to the Electrical Infrastructure behind Craven Cottage near Stevenage Road; works to the south west corner of Bishops Park and new service distribution routes around the stadium.
