The project involved the phased refurbishment of the Belgrade Theatre. Phase 1 included the refurbishment of all existing Stalls, Circle and loose seating to boxes; replacement of all floor finishes to auditorium, circulation spaces and foyers; refurbishment of existing timber joinery, including reforming the Orchestra pit; removal of existing ceiling and installation of tension wire grid. In addition, new building services works including the installation of production dimmers and photo voltaic panels. External render, repairs and roof refurbishment works were also carried out. Phase 2 included the refurbishment of the existing ground and first floor café, including refurbishment of existing kitchens and extension to the first floor.
